FRANCE, A LOVE STORY

Photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, tired of flying in the skies to see the Earth from above, sets out on the roads of France with the aim of capturing portraits of his fellow citizens. Along the way, he encounters the distress of farmers, the wandering of refugees, the isolation of communities, the protests as well as the hope of a crowd with a big heart—quarrelsome, idealistic, but always ready to care for others. The indefatigable adventurer forgets for a time his project as he discovers how much he loves this France, a nation far more generous and caring than we can imagine. Starts a tender journey, between laughter and tears, among the French people who are not so stupid, for who fraternity still rhymes with equality.
