Meadow

Grassland is an open expanse of dense grass with few trees. They exist at different altitudes, and can be more or less dry or marshy, natural or agricultural, permanent or ephemeral. Grasslands take their place where forests have not yet developed, or never will because of weather conditions. Unless it's man's hand that has favored it, through deforestation or agriculture. They are the preferred habitat of insects, birds and sometimes large herds of herbivores.
