MOROCCO FROM ABOVE is a large format documentary film by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. It is a prestigious film, shot entirely in 4K aerial images, with the best stabilized image technology available to date. This documentary makes us discover this beautiful country from a new angle, on the occasion of the annual UN Climate Conference (COP22) held in Marrakesh in November 2016.
An immense fresco, created around a journey through the country’s most important sites. This journey crosses history, territories and the humanities to draw a portrait. The camera takes us from picture to picture, from the coast to arid gorges, from fields to industrial complexes, from cities to small towns. Each time, several visions are combined.
First, an exceptional physical geography, rich in diversity: nature, land, fields, crops, wadi like valleys and mountains, arid and green plains, cereals like durum wheat... What the sky shows us is how much of a country’s wealth comes from its land and the men who work it.
