Pushed by several ecological associations, the President of the Republic announces the creation of the first Citizens' Convention for the Climate. An exercise in participatory democracy with a strong ambition: bring together 150 French people from all social and political backgrounds for 9 months to design 149 measures to address climate change.  Originally believing in a joke, these citizens drawn by lot took «a slap» when they realized the magnitude of the climate crisis. How did they experience this Citizens' Convention for the Climate? What became of these 150 decision-makers?

Weeks after weeks, behind the walls of the Convention, they first gathered information from experts and then gathered their ideas, shared their doubts, and lived together an unforgettable experience that for some has profoundly changed their lives.

Once they have returned home, they are transforming their lifestyles and undertaking the endless task of informing, raising awareness and transmitting. Some people sold their cars, changed jobs, and became vegetarians. Entrepreneurs, architects, students, nurses, all subjects of a democratic experience, they have become actors in the fight against climate change!

"Les 150" is partly a film of interviews in front of the camera, a style dear to the aesthetics of Yann Arthus-Bertrand and partly a follow-up of 6 citizens with exemplary commitment.
