Calling on naturalists based in China for a new documentary about Chinese biodiversity

A collaborative

movie project

This movie's essence and strength will lie in its collaborative nature. Beautiful and stunning footage are being taken every day all over the country, by all of you.

Through this project, we can bring these images together to show the incredible diversity of life in China. We want to include every person willing to contribute to this massive piece of work.

Inspired by the "VIBRANT - France" model

VIBRANT France is a loving inventory of French biodiversity. Through the eyes of naturalists, it reveals the intimacy of more than 400 species that evolve in the natural environments that make up the French landscape.

This incredible diversity has been made possible for the first time by the fabulous group of naturalist photographers and videographers who have taken part in this adventure by sending us their most beautiful images available.

Revealing the beauty's of Chinese wildlife

This film will be a tour of Chinese wildlife in all its forms, revealing landscapes, plant and animal species.

We could explore the steppe of Inner Mongolia, the tropical island of Hainan, the Grand Canyon of Zhangjajie, the rice terraces of Yuanyang, the red beaches of Panjin or the stone forest of Shilin..

These landscapes are home to more than 135,000 species: 69,000 animal species, including 694 mammals, 1,440 birds, 5,000 fish and over 50,000 insects. Among them are rare, endemic or critically endangered species such as the panda, the golden snub-nosed monkey, the snow leopard or the golden takin.
