A project by
Yann Arthus-Bertrand
& Hope Production
All around the world, humans and wild life are in constant motion, shaping a new face to our planet every minute, telling new stories.
Passionate photographers and videographers capture the vibrancy of life on Earth, particularly from aerial perspectives that can be both awe-inspiring and alarming.
Fourteen years after Home and two years after Legacy, Yann Arthus-Bertrand is now crafting a new film to document the ever-changing face of our planet.
A collaborative project, for which all the drone pilots around the globe are invited to share their best drone images, to tell today's world story.

Yann Arthus-Bertrand
Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a French photographer, film director and environmental activist.
He is the president of the GoodPlanet Foundation. He devoted a large part of his life, since the 80's, to sublimating lands and oceans from the air, aboard helicopters. For him, there is no better way to understand and tell how we all live on Earth than filming and photographing from the sky. His book Earth from Above, first published in 1999, is a worldwide best-seller. This aerial work changed his life and made him take action: a few years later he directed among others Home (2009), Human (2015) and Legacy (2021), to deal with the state of our planet. Today, he stopped using helicopters and travelling through planes. For him, a new way of capturing the Earth from above and making important movies is possible, especially thanks to new generations of aerial artists and the drone technology.
Hope Production
After numerous documentaries for television and cinema signed Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Hope Production was born from the meeting with the producer Jean-Yves Robin. The subsidiary of Robin&Co group has expanded into cinema with both Human (2015) and Woman (2020), a series of portraits shot around the world, both presented at the Venice Film Festival. Hope Production is exclusively dedicated to environmental and humanistic issues. We propose an original version of production, but also new modes of distribution. Our objective is to address the future of humanity and our planet in the most free and honest way possible.
